Amazing Pie

I did a little photoshop of the pie menu, giving it an extra level.
Maybe for when we get more access to the UI system.
Ideas for how it would work:

    Interesting. That seems to offer good affordance while removing the friction of the two level system we have now. Maybe you should apply for the UI Architect job they're advertising :)

    I too hope that the plans to open up the UI will lead to us being able to pimp the client like this

    Thanks Miss K. I've been compiling my UI ideas and I hope to have a few more mock ups soon. Looking into hacking the XUI and doing some real UI changes as well.

    Just took a regular snapshot 1600x1200 (<3 the new snapshot tool) and then got a large shot of the pie menu on a blank background ;0 Did some vector layer overlays and then added a transparent gradient. Then I cut the letters out of the original pie menu so it would match and pasted them over the new one ! Simple as PIE!

    PS. Blogging about pie makes people who are looking for pie recepies look at your website.
